Barati Gharati (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a wedding vendors marketplace operated by True Knock Group (True Knock Industries), provides services through its website, mobile applications, and related platforms (collectively, the “Services”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our Services.

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms applicable to specific features. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. User Accounts

  • Request quotes, shortlist vendors, communicate, and manage bookings.
  • Access planning tools, checklists, and wedding management features.

3.2 For Vendors/Service Providers

  • Create and manage business listings, portfolios, and pricing.
  • Receive leads, send quotes, confirm bookings, and manage payments.
  • Access analytics, reviews, and promotional tools (subject to subscription plans).

3.3 Platform Role
Barati Gharati acts as a technology intermediary connecting users and vendors. We are not responsible for the quality, delivery, or performance of vendor services.

4. Vendor Transactions

4.1 Quotes and Bookings

  • Quotes provided by vendors are non-binding until formally accepted.
  • All bookings create a direct legal relationship between you (user) and the vendor. Barati Gharati facilitates but does not guarantee vendor performance.

4.2 Payments

  • Payments processed through the Platform are held in escrow until service delivery confirmation.
  • Platform commission fees (if applicable) are clearly disclosed before transaction completion.
  • Refunds/cancellations follow vendor policies displayed at booking time.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Upload copyrighted material without permission.
  • Harass, defame, or spam other users or vendors.
  • Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Platform.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data.
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.

6. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors agree to:

  • Provide accurate service descriptions, pricing, and availability.
  • Respond to leads within 24 hours.
  • Deliver services as promised in confirmed bookings.
  • Maintain valid licenses, insurance, and comply with local laws.
  • Honor refund/cancellation policies displayed on their profiles.

7. Content Ownership

7.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, reviews, listings). By posting, you grant Barati Gharati a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, promote, and distribute it across our Services.

7.2 Our Content
All Platform content, logos, designs, and trademarks belong to True Knock Group (True Knock Industries). You may not copy, modify, or commercially exploit without written permission.

8. Reviews and Ratings

  • Reviews must be based on genuine experiences and cannot be manipulated.
  • We reserve the right to remove fake, abusive, or irrelevant reviews.
  • Vendors may reply to reviews but cannot delete or edit user-submitted content.

9. Intellectual Property

The Barati Gharati name, logo, and all associated trademarks are owned by True Knock Group (True Knock Industries). Unauthorized use constitutes trademark infringement.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

10.1 No Warranty
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee vendor quality, availability, or service delivery.

10.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, True Knock Group & True Knock Events, its affiliates, and employees shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Barati Gharati, True Knock Group, and affiliates from claims arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or disputes with other users/vendors.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately for material breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases, though Sections 7-15 survive.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh].
